Home Educator Day

Two ticket options are available for Home Educator Day at Monticello. Take a Family Friendly Tour and explore the first floor of Monticello, or purchase a Grounds Ticket to access the historic mountaintop.

Both options include access to our outdoor programs and exhibits, as well as special educational activities on the West Lawn from 10am - 3pm.

Family Friendly Tours

Your Family Friendly Tour ticket includes a 45-minutes guided tour, specially designed for kids, as well as all-day access to Home Educator activities on the West Lawn and mountaintop exhibits.

Your reserved time is the time of your tour. Arrive at least 30 minutes before your tour time to take a shuttle from our Visitor Center to the historic mountaintop.
